Why Captcha has turned into checkboxes??
A CAPTCHA is a type of challenge–response test used in computing to determine whether or not the user is human. The term was coined in 2003 by Luis von Ahn, Manuel Blum, Nicholas J. Hopper, and John Langford. The most common type of CAPTCHA was first invented in 1997 by two groups working in parallel
But google bots are 96% accurate in decoding these Captchas
So google introduced a new alternate to captcha. i.e,,Re-Captcha
In 2017, Google improved this mechanism, calling it an "invisible reCAPTCHA". According to former Google "click fraud czar" Shuman Ghosemajumder, this capability "creates a new sort of challenge that very advanced bots can still get around, but introduces a lot less friction to the legitimate human.
That is the check box you find in some sites..!!
